CCLN feels strongly that training is the lifeblood of all quality services and supports. CCLN has created a training sub-committee that is committed to disseminating cutting edge information as well as providing a forum for ongoing dialogue. The Training Committee is dedicated to promoting best practices for SLS agencies, and we recognize that quality training for the people directly providing those services is essential. Our hope is that this will equip agencies with the necessary tools to provide quality services to people with disabilities throughout the state.
The Training Resources page gives an overview of the training requirements as directed through Title 17 as well as a list of other suggested trainings. They are broken down into orientation requirements, continuing training requirements, and training for recipients of services. Please visit the DDS website to view the Supported Living Training Requirements as they are written in title 17.
CCLN also offers a 5 Principles DVD for sale. Download the order form.
